This video a major reason I generally don't watch videos. It should have only lasted the length of his first sentence, which summed up what 6:09 of blah, blah, blah with no visuals other than him moving around enough to make me seasick.
So, that said, I quit watching after about 15 seconds.
As for my '18 SR5, I don't care if it goes up in value. I never have purchased any vehicle with thought to resell or get a good trade-in value. I have bought them to use until they are no longer reliable enough to justify putting more money in them. The old ones generally went to family members if desired and still running. Between vehicle purchases, I've saved so that I can purchase a new vehicle without going into debt.
At my age, and with the prices of new vehicles today, I've reached the time that my '12 Subaru Outback and '18 SR5 will likely be my last purchases. My Outback turned over 150k miles last month, but has been super reliable and has no issues. And my T4R has 61,800 miles, so has a lot of years/miles left.
