**Now edited 4/27 to show the flyer--Please note--I've done this as this is a pre-register event. WE MUST HAVE A HEAD COUNT!**
Hello all, thanks for your time.
There is a local Sacramento Cal 4WD group that is hosting another fantastic SUV trip. Here's just a brief bit off the flyer:
"Saturday, May 17, 2008, TYLER-FOOTE CROSSING TO ALLEGHANY. Follow an unusual,
single lane shelf road as it descends and crosses the Middle Yuba River. The former stagecoach route is
constructed with near-vertical stone wall hand built by Italian stone masons over 90 years ago. Lunch in
Alleghany, an 1850 gold mining town that still has active mining today. We will return via Plumbago
Mine and Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park. See the effects of hydraulic mining and the restored
mining town of North Bloomfield. Suitable for all 4x4 vehicles with front and/or rear attachment points."
I also intend on attaching a link of the photos of the last time they did this run. What beautiful scenery! They will again have a historian along for the ride to point out the historical places, as I understand there is a lot to this trip than just the country side! I can not wait for this trip...I've already put in my vacation request time for work and my CB should be delivered today!!
My question is related to wether or not for people who are interested in all the details, do you want me to post it here or on the Off Road section? As stated all models are accepted but they'd love it if more Toyotas came along. There will be no snow, but we all know why Jeepers secretly like it when there are Toyotas around!
