Well at least there are a couple of us. Anyone in the Seattle area with a lift. I really want to see one in person before i take the plunge.

Sorry, no lift, though.

How many of us are willing to take our rigs off road? I've taken mine out stock. I won't be doing anything major but maybe a group event to run down some forest service roads could be fun.

Deal me in on the forest service road thing. Those and snow are about the only 4 wheeling I've done.
Also like to get some lessons from someone that knows what they're doing off road. There's that OHV are on the road up to Lake Mowich that looks interesting.

I am in as well. Not sure about the lake you are talking about but I know there are some great roads just out of Gold Bar on the way up to Stevens Pass.
I have not done any serious off roading and only have stock tires but forest service roads can still be a lot of fun. I also have a tow strap if anyone decides they want to get extreme.
How about this Sunday? It has been raining a lot so there should be some good mud to be had.

I've spent a lot of time driving forest service roads in my old blazer. It's nothing techinical. Occasionally there's a patch of road that requires some attention. The reward I've found from it is finding some really amazing things to see. Huge waterfalls, wildlife, epic views once you get some altitude.
I did reiter pit and the sultan basin in the blazer and mostly have that out of my system. 4R will get babied for a while but forest roads are completely in.
There any days that work best for folks? I work M-F.

Weekends would be the only time I could make it. How about this Saturday?

I'll try and make it. I can't do anything too hard core, though. Still recovering from surgery. I'm not sure if I can handle even a washboarded dirt road yet. But at the very least I can show up at the RDVU point and drink some coffee with ya folks.
Either Sat or Sun works for me this weekend, just not too early in the AM though. I'll try going on the FS roads with you all, but don't be surprised if I bilge out early.
BTW, Lake Mowich is on the slopes of Mt Rainier. Just google Carbonado, you'll see SR 165 headed south from there. After the road fork with Carbon River Rd, SR 165 is also known as Lake Mowich Rd and becomes a dirt road after a half mile or so. The OHV site is off Lake Mowich Rd.

Since this is dad's day weekend I was planning a week later. June 21st?
What's our destination?
Skykomish: Beckler, Money Creek, Old Cascade Hwy
North Bend: Tinkham, Middle Fork, Snoqualmie Pass
Granite Falls: There's some scenic byway that passes through the mountains that reopened recently. I forget the name of it.
Any other suggestions?
Also, what radios does everyone have? FRS? GMRS? HAM?
