No, nobody manufacturers them, only third gens. We've communicated with the manufacturer(s) and they dont seem interested in it at all.

I've only seen 3rd gen models at the stealer's parts department. They are ok reproductions but are not entirely accurate.
I have seen 2nd and 3rd gen RC models at a local hobby store though.

JA,
I realize I'm reviving a verrry old thread, but I didn't see much/any discussion on the subject since. I stumbled on the idea from your Top4Runners website, as you have diecasts for the 3rd gen (obviously).
I'm wondering if there were any updates as to if there are any 4th gen diecasts available or not?
I'm starting to think it'd be pretty cool to have a diecast of each vehicle I've owned starting from when I got married in '08 (which means I'll need to find one for my "sold" 2001 Accord as well!)
Again, sorry for reviving an old thread, but just thought there might be interest from others on this topic as well. (At least I'm not starting a new thread on the subject - right?)

No, there is still no one that makes a 4th Gen replica. I still contact manufactures from time to time, to no avail. Sorry. I would love one myself, 1:18 perhaps! But we do still have plenty of third gens ready to ship out the next morning after pamyment is received ( helps keep the personal site alive...hint ).

The closest replica you can get to a 4th gen 4Runner in 1:18 scale is a Land Cruiser Prado. It is made by a Chinese company and really tough to find. I was able to buy one at an auto show.
If you want a replica of the 1st gen 4Runner, matchbox just released a new mold of it. It comes in 3 different colors.

bump. Just bought a green one from you! Reminds me of my old 98, even though it wasnt a sport and was .5 gen's older. Win win, model truck for me and support JA's site, which I've used several times!
Thanks J.A.!

4th gen options
If someone were really dedicated to getting a model of a 4th gen 4Runner, I would suggest a 3D printing service.
