Power Outlets

I have not used my power outlet in a while and when i tried to plug my new cell phone into the outlet i get no power. Any ideas what might have happened? I have a 2008 4runner.

possibly a fuse?

i'll say this, on my mr2 my cig lighter/outlet didnt work and i had to go buy a new universal unit from advance for a few dollars and rig up someting that worked.
cost about 5 bucks and 10 minutes of my time and it never caused me a problem again.

but id start at a fuse.

Stupid question, did you press the 115v button on the dash by your left knee?

It's not the 115V outlet it is the 110 which is in the console and back of the SUV. I'm heading out to there right now and put in a new fuse. Hope that works.

I had the same problem last week. It was a fuse. Switched it out and was good to go.

Sorry about that, my mistake. Glad you got it figured out.

You've got me confused... It's not the 115V AC, it's the 110? Do you mean it's the 12V DC powered outlets? Those are the only other power outlets that are OEM, and are mounted in the front console, & back cargo area.

YEs it is the 12V DC. I replaced the fuse last night and everything seems to work. I don't understand why the fuse blew in the first place.
