Touch-up paint

Got some time and painted the bug eye window sprayers and foglight trim pieces to match. Now to get a matching grill and I'm set.

Installing HID kit in fogs this week.

Looks nice, yeah once you get that white grill it'll be big pimpin'. You've convinced me to paint my windshield sprayers silver to match my paint

That may be THEE cleanest & subtlest mod ever!!

I feel the same way, even the Limited comes w/ black nozzles.

That was something I noticed too.

Any prep involved? Where did you get the paint?

I would assume so also, but Ive gotten OEM paint pens from online sources for like .99 so Im inclined not to run to the dealer and pay retail for everything.

OP did you take out the foglight inserts to paint?

I pulled the nozzles and foglight inserts off for painting, the inserts snap out easily, after cleaning and removing any wax, I cut very small pieces of masking tape and used a scribe to cover the water nozzles, each of the six nozzles has to be done individually for a factory look. I used a plastic specific primer I found at HomeDepot.

The fog inserts are dimpled and needed several very thin coats to keep them looking nice.

There isn't a dealer down here so I got the paint at the HD. I finally got a very close color on the third can I tested. White is a pretty easy color to match.

Thanks for the compliment K.C.
