Touch-up paint

I have read a few threads about the touch up paint kits but none of them seemed to address my particular question. Forgive me if it has already been asked. I have a Galactic Grey Micah 4runner and it has a few scratches here and there. How well would the touch up kits from the dealership make the paint look on small to medium sized scratches?

I dont know about the touch up from the dealership. I would try buffing them out before touching them up! Generaly if you spread water on the scratch and it disappears it will buff! If you can feel it with your fingernail it won't! If buffing doesn't work most larger bodyshops with make u a matched touch up bottle if u ask them! We do where I work, and the shops I've work at in the past did as well!

For Titanium Metallic (1D4), the match isn't too bad. It's not noticable to other people that repairs have been made, but I can tell where I've put touch up paint. I use Lankga after I put touch up paint on. While my touch ups aren't perfect and unnoticable, it does look better than if the chips were left untouched.

Overall, I would say it's not perfect, but I'm not complaining either since silver is a hard color to match and paint to begin with. Hopefully, you're a) not as picky as me or b) Galactic is an easier color to match and deal with than silver.
