stock 4runner looking for cheap/cool mods to do!
okay so i have a white 2006 4runner and i wanna start doing stuff to it but since im in high school i dont really have the money to do all that much.
Heres a list of stuff i wanna do and if yall could help me that would be awesome!
-Black out tail lights (thanks to J.A.C for giving me instructions! )
-get the wierd chrome from the interior of my healights blacked out (how would i do that??)
-black out my door handles (how would i do that??)
-paint my rims black (how would i do that??)
-get all my guage clusters white, like Darkies, get my map lights white, get my headunit light white, get my dome light bright white
-since my day time lights are on the bottom and all the new 4runners have thier turn signals as thier day times i was wondering if it be possible to switch them? like flip the wires or something??
if any of those are confusing just ask me and ill clarify! thanks so much

+ 1,
I haven't asked any questions for choices on my lift, tires, bumper, breathers, or what to look out for in differnt brands... the SEARCH tool is amazing, i've spent hours reading up on old threads and without a single question I figured out exactly what I wanted "see sig" and what I needed to do to make it all work together. Good luck on your endeavors.
Mike...

Welcome aboard by the way! Cruise the site, familiarize yourself! You will find some cool shit on here to do to your 4runner that will keep you occupied every weekend and your wallet empty!! Heres a cool thread to start with: DIY Mods: Post Write-ups HERE
EDIT: As you can tell, its easier to point people to the search tool, and to previous threads than to re-live the topics and discussions all over again. I know what I just said can be said in harsher ways, I have seen people do it. I don't like that; I fear it will prevent new people from posting good questions, or from sharing unique experiences and ideas. Please feel free to post and ask away, if a thread has already been started about a topic you're asking about, don't take offense if someone says so.
I know I'm on a soap box with that last paragraph and off topic, I just don't like seeing new guys get run over.

Upgrade your interior lighting to LED's. It is fairly cheap and looks fantastic!

I would go for the fog light mod/high beam mod. It'll cost you less than $5 and it's totally worth it.
