He told me, but forgot. I'll send a message. It's aluminum and weighs only 42lbs.

looks real nice without a white roof...very custom touch improves the look quite a bit. thanks for sharing with us.

I know I've always hated the white roof, it looks SO much better! And theres no way even if that was aluminum that it could weigh 42 pounds. Well...

Aluminum? So what's the point since it probably would fold up like a tin can on impact with anything;isn't the point of those to be steel and withstand a hard impact or are they just for looks? Or am I missing something?

That must be some kind of aluminum armour otherwise why bother. the FJ would look more badass if it had bigger wheel/tire combo and a higher lift. Oh I'd love to see that.

its most likely 6061 t-6 aluminium with maybe 5052 brackets, which is maybe only 1/2 the strength of mild steel, depending on thickness, but also 1/2 the weight, wont require an upgraded suspension cost, doesnt rust & in some cases a better than stock compromise for a steel one, problem is they still cost big bux, now if they were also 1/2 the price it might be something to thing about. just my 2c http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/reviews/4rnrfrontbumper/
