A question has come up between myself and a Toyota tech regarding the type of base and grade for the steering knuckle lube for Toyota Landcruisers prior to 1997 Model production,

I have Identified it is a #1 or #0 grade, and not lithium based,

The Toyota tech Identifies this as axle seal failure ,
