Great! I'll PM you my cell #.
Can you post the general area of the mild trails so I can scope/obsess, instead of working, this week? Is an ORV tag required?

No tags required. Most of it is on power lines and on state land. There are some snowmobile trails running through that they might say you need a tag for but I've never so much as seen a dnr officer out there.
The area is just off 5 mile road, between supply Rd, and M-72. The Vasa trail runs through there. Then there is more area over past Williamsburg road that continues on the power line and through state land.

I found the area. We've vacationed near there before. Now, we finally have a way to explore a little better.

I am in Byron Center, just south of Grand Rapids. I've hit the sand at Silver Lake State Park a few times. Always looking for a good excuse to get sandy. I also have a family cottage in Elk Rapids, north of Traverse City. Love the lakeshore, Fall color tours, lighthouses, etc. Perhaps a cruise and/or off-road trail ride could be organized.
My 4Runner is my daily driver, my "baby", my project vehicle, and I take great effort to keep her looking good and running well.

I live in Traverse City, always looking for people to hit trails with. I don't know a ton of areas yet, but I'm always up for some fun.

Anyone want to get in some winter trail riding? Not any snow to speak of, should be easy riding.

Grand Rapids
I'm new to this forum and I'm from Grand Rapids. Also new to Michigan I'd love to met up with anyone that knows any trails or off road places. I've got a 95 that I'm building on every weekend so also any garage buddies will be welcome to hang out swap parts and stories.

Road trip to AP this weekend
Hey guys, I haven't been on here in a couple of years. Just got my new 2013 4runner limited, all stock equipment. Taking a road trip from Minneapolis Munising, MI (AP), then cutting across from there to Apostles Island, WI, with my wife, looking for some ideas on where I can do some off roading...any ideas?
