Folks, I am in the SE Michigan (northeastern Oakland County) area and although not a hard core dune or rock crawler I tend to simply drive through whatever to get to wherever which is what I like about the truck: the adage of "arrive on time to your cancelled flight" theme. Not sure what goes on over here or who needs a hand occasionally but know I am here.

SW Michigan (Kalamazoo).
My 2016 Trail Premium is expected to arrive in two weeks First new car in close to twenty years. Kids are out of the house and married. Time to treat myself to a fun vehicle.

Just placed an order for mine. I may be waiting 2-3 months, though. I'd be interested in any meet-ups or events. I used to accompany my father on the Great Lakes Land Rover events, but I'd prefer a more open event to all mfrs or even a Toyota specific one. I didn't see too much activity from the Great Lakes area, especially in Michigan. Look forward to meeting you peeps.

Therese a club in Kalamazoo, that runs up north a lot, that is about it for S. W. Michigan. You pretty much have to go north of grand rapids to hit a trails or parks, or maybe Alligan forest?

Checking in - another MI member in GR. Here's a pic from last weekend, I was in the process of waxing the truck:
I also removed my sliders last weekend to get them re-powder coated. I'm debating between putting them back on or just selling them... I don't wheel much since we moved here from out west, and my wife hates the bars. Only issue is that I need steps of some type for accessing the roof to tie down my canoe. Not sure which way I'll go yet.

I live up on Traverse City. Not sure if shops down there but these trucks are really easy to work on. What are your plans?

Roof rack, grill guard w/lights. Suspension with small lift and slightly bigger tires. Maybe a snorkel. I'm moving to the carribian and I need to put together something that can get around all parts of the island with out help. Problem for me is I bought a limited thinking the adjustable lift would be convenient and both front struts are leaking oil pretty bad already. Do you know if I can I just swap in normal bigger suspension?

I do. But I also assumed it was on all four, ... something is leaking like crazy out of the front.

XREAS is connected to all 4. Can you take a pic of your front shocks and your rear coils or air bags if it has them?
There is a kit for the Lexus to convert air bags to coils. I believe metal tech sells it. There's also a thread here about them. Let me see if I can find it. Pics will help me identify your setup though.

Here is the link to the RAS conversion if you have it: How To: Convert RAS to Coils
Here is a thread about the xreas system. I suspect you have this. How to identify X-REAS suspension
Let me know what you have and we can go from there. Also, if it's worth the trip I can do about anything you may want to do quite easily. Check out my build thread if you're up to it.
