Connor,
are you on Fjcruiserforum.net? looks like your rig. My starter just died, but I'm gonna try to make the 24th meet and greet if I can get it running.

We just had a trip out to the Badlands last week. There were 13 of us 4Runners and FJs. I'd like to get one more trip before it starts to get too cold. Redbird isn't too far either. We did a small snow trip last year and it was pretty fun...

I'm probably out that weekend, moving into my new apartment then. I think my next planned trip will be Toys for Tots at the badlands on December 7th. Bring a $10 toy new in box and it's free admission I believe. If we get enough trucks going we will probably split into two easy/hard groups at some point. I know of a few sas taco's and Land Cruiser guys going already.

I'll have to mark this on my calendar. I've been to Badlands before but not with my 4runner. Has anyone heard anything bad about the toxins in the soil and water here? Reportedly, a neighbor of mine takes his dirt bike there and warned me about taking my 4runner. He said they used to temporarily use it as a dump and the toxic water run off is acidic. He said he dropped his bike in a big puddle that resulted in his paint being eaten off the new frame. I definitely don't want anything like this to happen to my truck!! Maybe this guy is all BS?

I've been there a bunch and never heard of this... I mean I definately wouldn't drink the water from the pond or creek seeing as it's an ohv park that used to be a quarry. Let's just say that I've been hood deep in the pond before with no ill effects. I'm sure none of the other guys have had issues either so I'll call BS

Let's get something going at the badlands soon. Never wheeled my runner much but I'm down to test it out since my crawler is down.

I live on the NE side of Indy. Havent been to Badlands yet but have been wanting to get out there. I climb/camp a lot in WV, TN, and KY. There are some awesome trails down around Daniel Boone National Forest which is only about 4 hrs away. I go very often, heading down 4/11-4/13 actually. Id definitely like to meet some other members and play in the rigs.
