Gents - before you go cutting up your new trucks, you may want to consider some alternatives that gives your most recent 4R design its own look and feel.
The TOYOTA emblem conversion is kinda played out, IMHO. I've done the conversion on my own '12 TE and now that they are going to be rolling off the assembly line TRD "STOCK" this way, Im definitely over it and looking for a change.
Here are some example ideas;
1) How about running a "TOYOTA" emblem behind the lower grill. Could possibly attach it to the radiator leaving some space between the grill and logo. Stealthy? Different?
2) Emblem/badge "4RUNNER instead "TOYOTA" across the grill or better yet the bumper stripe that cuts across the grill. As I said, the new TRD edition will be now running TOYOTA as "STOCK" emblem. Besides the "TOYOTA" emblem conversion is played out across 4R, Taco, JF and now TRD edition 2015 Tundra/Taco/4R. I am thinking about changing my out for this idea.
3) Display TOYOTA using smaller fonts than referenced above but spaced farther apart. You'd have to mount each letter individually....
