GB on UltraGauge OBDII w/TacomaWorld

We are ready to place orders! Please use the link below and NOT the regular UltraGauge link. To get the discount you will need to use this link. If you use the regular UG webpage you will not get a discount. This webpage will be available until the evening of Tuesday the 15th. Ready? Set! GO!

http://ultra-gauge.com/ZC/index.php?...index&cPath=10

Also, if you're not on the list that's ok! The webpage is open to all. I just needed to compile a list to ensure we had enough interested people to get the discount before starting the process. So - if your not on the list no worries, just follow the link and buy what you want.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update 9/5 - The vendor will create a special webpage for this group buy. On Tuesday (don't know time) they will send me the link, which I will post here. Go in, select your products and pay for them. The vendor will hold the order (will not charge you) until 50 switches have been ordered, at which time the orders will be processed and shipped. They ship out Mon/Wed/Friday, so conceivably orders placed on Tuesday will arrive by Friday. The special webpage will close the following Tuesday night. 1 week was all I could get. Originally they wanted to shut it down Sunday night...

Hey guys and gals - I'm a member of TacomaWorld and have started a group buy on the UltraGauge OBDII. We're doing the GB on the Air On Board switches with you guys so I thought I'd see if anyone here is interested in participating in the UltraGauge buy as well. We need >50 to get the discount and we're nearly there (only took a few days). If you're interested read the info below, check out the links and let me know if you want in. I'll add you to the 4Runner list and let you know when we are ready. Thanks! Carl.

UltraGauge:
UltraGauge OBDII Scan tool & Information Center

Edit 9/1/15 - so it seems like there is some interest in this. I've never done one of these GB before so bear (bare?) with me. Above is a link to the UltraGauge GB from last year that may have some useful info for you.

More info - The discounts are listed below. More details from the last GB listed in the link above. All models are discounted. So we would start a list here of those who want to buy, when we get to >50 (taking whatever time we need/set) we will let UG know and they will give us a code. Those on the list have 1 week to pay. When 50 people have paid (must be done in 7 days) the product ships.

The group buy prices are:
UG v1.2: $50.95
UG Plus: $54.95
UG MX: $64.95

UltraGauge EM v1.2 - check the website for features, they are numerous.

UltraGauge EM Plus -
The UltraGauge EM Plus is identical to the UltraGauge EM v1.2 except for the following additions:
Readiness Monitors (basically emissions)
Performance Measurements (0-x acceleration times, braking from x to x times)
Additional Wide O2 Sensor support to track Stoichiometric AFR via Lambda
In addition, when a trouble code alarm occurs, the first trouble code found is displayed during the alarm event. Previously, the menu system had to be used to view the trouble code.

UltraGauge MX v1.3 -
The UltraGauge MX 1.3 is only recommended for advanced users that are very comfortable with technology and are familiar with the concept of OBDII codes. For all others, we highly recommend the UltraGauge EM Plus. The UltraGauge MX 1.3 is identical to the UltraGauge EM v1.2 except that the MX 1.3 has the ability to POTENTIALLY access manufacturer specific gauges. The best source of gauge codes is on an automotive forum specific to your vehicle.

Discounts including mounts:

See the picture below for all discounted items
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've added the names of those who said they wanted in but left off those who did not specifically say they were in. If you want in say so and I'll add your name.

I could not find a table that compared the products side by side (emailed the manufacturer as well). I listed the differences between the UltraGauge models above as that was the best I could find for that product. A quick Google search will find a lot of user comparisons and opinions. (I had a link here but it didn't work)

Visually, the UltraGauge has a larger screen with bigger font and generally looks better and is easier to read, IMHO. As far as tranny temp - when I Google searched it I see people mentioning the MX and being able to program it to get that, but I don't know if it's vehicle specific.

I'll put you down for one. If you find it isn't what you want please let me know asap. Thanks!

EDIT- A user on TacoWorld posted this so check it out:

"Looks like it according to the UG documentation:
http://www.ultra-gauge.com/ultragaug...uge_MX_1.3.pdf

So, as long as your model uses CAN (listed in page 3 of the UG link above) it will.

Edit: Only listed with the UltraGauge MX V1.3"

The "normal" price is $69.95. With their web mail in rebate discount it's $60.95. With our group buy it's $50.95. There is no mail in rebate on the group buy, it's basically $10 cheaper plus whatever savings on the mount you choose.

Shipping is not included.

I'm in for an MX, maybe 2 if the code could stay active for a while so I could try one for a few days that would be awesome. Thanks.

Hey DionJ - unfortunately the vendor only gives us 7 days once we get the code. I'll add you in for 1 but you will be able to buy as many as you want.

Could you put me on the list for an EM Plus. I don't need any mounting brackets.

Thanks

Thanks guys, got you on the list. I'll PM you the code when we get it. I don't think we'll hit the number by tomorrow and the vendor is closed on the weekend, so likely it will be early next week. Hopefuly by Tuesday.

We've hit our target number over on Tacoma World!

I'm going to wait until Tuesday to contact the vendor for the code because Monday is a holiday so they likely wouldn't be able to process anything until Tuesday anyway. Plus, this will give those who would want to get one a little more time to see the post and jump in.

As soon as I get the code I'll let you guys know.

See update in post #1. There's still time to get in on this deal! Christmas is only 3 months away - buy some switches now and forget that last minute shopping rush! Your wife will thank you!

As you can tell I'm not married.
