Electrical System upgrade GROUPBUY (BIG 3 PLUS)! **ENDS OCTOBER 14TH**

THE SIGN UP PERIOD FOR THIS HAS NOW CLOSED

**INSTRUCTIONS ON THIS POST, ENDS OCTOBER 14th, 2015**

First of all I want to thanks @bamato y1997

Electrical system upgrade!

What plans do you have on your build?

A lot of us have light setups, winches, fridges, secondary batteries, high powered audio systems, etc. What we dont know is that the performance of these items can be limited due to the weak stock wiring between the battery, starter and alternator.

Looks like we need to fill a gap, correct?

Here is where @bamato y1997 comes in and creates a wiring kit to upgrade the Tacoma and 4runner flimsy wiring!

@bamato y1997 has agreed to offer his stage one kit in form of a group buy!

So here is what the Stage 1 Kit comes with:

•High quality battery terminals with built-in voltage gauge for "at-a-glance" reading of your battery status.
•Heavy-duty 2 gauge primary cables for starter and vehicle grounds using welding cable with over 2000 strands of copper.
•Heavy-duty 4 gauge alternator cable, and vehicle power cable made of the same welding cable style, with over 1000 strands of copper.
•Heavy-duty 4 gauge power point draw with 130A fuse
•Performance Stereo 8 gauge wire for body ground
•Instructions on installation

I have personally installed his setup on my 3rd gen 4runner build and I can tell you his work and almost immediate customer service support is LEGIT!

Here is his product threads, 4runner installs are similar:

https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/...pgrade.311091/

https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads....ilable.318682/

Here is a picture of the wiring setup at my battery for my 3rd gen 4runner:

If you are looking to do heavy winching, heavy lighting, or on a nice sound system

This is the deal for you!

Also, make sure to look into his high amp alternators which are NOT part of the group buy.

So here's the juicy stuff :

Stage 1 Kits are typically $120 each, with $10 in shipping.

1-10 kits - 5% off
11-20 kits - 10% off
21+ kits - 10% off plus free shipping!

Free shipping to Alaska and Hawaii also!

What's the turn around time?

3-4 weeks AT LEAST, to obtain materials, build and ship. Depending on amount of buyers of course..

So who's in?

If you guys have any questions, post them here.

The vendor DOES have an account on T4R and is watching this thread closely.

I have a sort-of question, sort-of concern. Being an absolute newbie with electrical systems, how difficult is this upgrade (and how easy is it to **** up?). I've heard it is generally worth it and I am considering doing it when I add a new battery, lighting and on board air.

Ditto on this. I'm not the greatest with electrical systems too.

I didn't have any issues installing mine. It was just a matter of following the wiring for the starter, alternator and battery.

It does take time tho.

Maybe the vendor can take some time to elaborate on this..

The vendor/distributor does not have a design for V8 4runners..

If anyone near Navarre, Florida has a V8 4runner, he is willing to make you a deal if you provide your truck as a guinea pig

I actually have now completed measurements, and am in the process of designing a Kit for the V8 4Runner! If you want in simply let Ramon know and he will add you to the list. I will have the Kit design completed before the end of the time period. PM me if you wish. Or post here and I will reply as quickly as I can.
