Got my Skottle a few days ago. It's definitely gonna step up my camp cooking game. Thanks for setting up this GB.

A few notes. I ordered late so I got the Step 22 bag instead. Jerry shipped it with the Skottle but said if I wanted the BROG bag I could change them out. After looking at and feeling the Stepp 22 bag I decided to keep it instead. Feels very well made, has a nice handle, and the side loops for the legs is nice too. Also I got a black bag which is more subtle than green.

My one complaint about the skottle is that every time you tighten the leg posts with the eye screw you will damage the paint. My solution was to use some blue duct tape and just wrap a single layer around that area. That will at least protect the paint a little.

Otherwise it's awesome and I can't wait to take and test it out in Tahoe next week.

I was thinking of doing this as well to protect the legs. There is just enough room to fit some tape in there I think. And ya it really steps up the cooking game while you're out there!

As much as I talked about supporting Blue Ridge Overland Gear as an added benefit, I got the Step 22 bag as well. Which is cool because I just gave a tortoise a home with my family, just not sure who Step 22 is and if their gear is purely USA made ( it says made in USA so im guessing its the Blue Ridge Overland Gear of the west coast).

Also, my step 22 gear bag was tan which is okay with me since I have the tan softex interior in my 4runner.

Yeah there's it just enough room for about one pass of the duct tape. Initially I tried Gorilla Tape which is like double thick duct tape and it was too thick to fit in the peg holes. If you use regular single thickness duct tape it will be fine.

I have plenty of BROG bags so I felt fine with going with Step 22. I didn't want to have to deal with the hassle of waiting for the BROG to get back in stock and then have to ship the Step 22 bag back. Plus I have a trip planned next week and definitely needed something to carry it in now.

I'm glad to hear the step 22 bag is working out. Looks like it's good quality and quite useful.

I did a second in 2018 and a third in 2019. None last year cause I was busy and the forum got eerily quiet. Also, had lots of interest prior to the third group buy and then once I got it setup...crickets. Ok not crickets but much much less participated than actually interested. All that being said, I am willing to reach out to Jerry to try to setup a group buy if we get a good amount of interest. I'd say at least 15-20 people interested, based on experience.

SOOOOOO, I guess if you're interested in another group buy, I'll put something in the interest thread and go ahead and reply there and we'll see what interest arises. Also, check out their website because they have a lot more products and product options now than they did back in 2017 or even a year or two ago.
