Nice spot, but I hope you didn’t have to get rid of “Party Mode”
Best feature of these trucks!

Lol

I'm a little frustrated. My rear camera doesn't work and communication is horrible right now. No resolution in sight.

Plan on installing mine this weekend but after reading all the post I’m pretty worried has anybody’s Kit successfully worked?

I have full function, and had great communication in resolving the issue I had.

There was a faulty rca (female) and Brian sent one of the relay harnesses out immediately (after spending the course of 2 days troubleshooting - only had limited time at night for me to work on it).

I'm sure others have had success installing without any problems. Mine just happened to be a faulty connector.

Make sure you wire everything up and test it before you start tucking and routing thru firewall. I recommend using wire loom to protect the wires in the engine bay. Also, I routed the RCA cable thru the large grommet (directly below the hood release cable) and had no issues there.

The only issue I had was the front camera not turning on. I was scratching my head for hours, only to find out I had a bad ground the entire time lol.

Mine has worked perfectly. Got to test it out on the trails and it definitely helped!

no issues with mine.
I did watch his video a thousand times trying to visualize it on the truck.
I wish someone would do a step by step video on an actual vehicle.
It took me longer to figure out where to mount the front camera(since there are no instructions on this)

Mine has worked great from the first day of install. I kind of waited a bit after running the wires to the front camera to actually install the front camera because I needed to remove license plate and bracket to get drill in. It have all worked from day 1 though. If you have problems I would check the connections you have to make first. I used the solder seal wire connectors listed below and they worked great.

Curious if you have the nav override in yours. I have yet to install mine but wondering if all the successful installs also do not have the nav override.

I did not add the front camera option, I am going to order and add it after winter as I don’t want to get in that deep while the snow falls here.
I installed the anytime back up harness and the nav override. Both have worked great, no issues so far.

So did anyone hook up the blue and grey wires on the switch for illumination?

So far, so good with the install. Test was successful, just need to mount the front camera when i finish the china pro grill mod tomorrow. I think "old red" spoiled me with his work. Think the ground wires could be a bit longer (on the relay/switch) camera feed a few feet shorter and the directions well, better. Not sure why one needs to add connectors, no reason why male/female could not be added from the "manufacturer", but like i said. Spoiled by old red (to bad the powers that be shunned him).

I did for awhile, then I disconnected them.
i wasn't happy with the way it "looked" when it was on so I disconnected the illumination. Where I have it mounted it is next to the mirror switch and it's not lit either so it looks better in dark mode.
