I think the lack of communication has to do with COVID-19. When I ordered my rack from them last year they were on it. I had a call from sales within a day to confirm my order and address. When I got my rack, the freight company had either dropped it or something that caused the ladder to be bent to the point that when I tried to install it, it was about 3" too long. I sent their customer service an email asking for help on a Saturday. I had an email asking for a picture and some verification regarding the marking/part number to confirm it was the right ladder and damaged or if they sent the wrong one. It was confirmed to be right and damaged during shipping and a new one was sent that day, with a return shipping label. It's hard not to get frustrated with the amount we pay, but these guys are normally very good at customer service.

Glad it worked out for you with them but that has been the opposite of my experience prior to COVID and now. I can’t make excuses for a company that is still actively marketing on their social media pages (not only for themselves but other local businesses also - which means it isn’t automated) but can’t return a phone call or email to a customer that had already paid for services/goods.

My backpack finally arrived at my house. I never got any shipping notification or correspondence. So, my order is complete at the 7 month mark.

Wow, that's horrible. I'm going to call them tomorrow to see what the hell is going on. It shouldn't take 18 weeks to get an accessory bracket. At this point, I don't even care about the bag. I just want my high lift jack mount and light bar mount.

I sent another email over to Leslie since I hadn't heard back from her since April regarding my missing sunroof insert. My backpack arrived the other day as well, but to be honest I'd rather have my sunroof insert.

I imagine if they're shipping backpacks and such that there are people back in the office now, so hopefully they get my insert sent out soon.

Same thing going on here.... I also have been trying to get replacement rubber plugs for the bottom of the rack. I now have brown rust water running out of mine onto my roof.... I was aware of the wait time and crappy customer responses during the order phase, but in all honestly, I would not and will not buy from them again. To just blatantly ignore customers when they are trying to track down their items and refuse to respond to concerns is ridiculous.

Sucks, because it really is a nice product.

I have the same issue, it has rust inside the roof rack and rust water drips down on the roof, I can't even reach them to see what I can do about it, they have horrible customer service too.

They finally emailed me back and basically told me that I can buy new rubber drain plugs for $25..... No Thanks Gobi. No Thanks. You would think after what we spent on these racks, they would at least offer to send a $1 piece of rubber for free considering the rust water is not a great look for them.
