No need to do that.
If there is a Batteries + Bulbs in your area, they sell a Northstar rebranded battery that is called X2 Power. It has a full 5 year full replacement warranty versus 4 from Northstar.
Also, with a readily available discount code and sometime rebates offered on these batteries you can get it for well below $300. I paid $263 for my 24F in late 2019.
Lastly, if a warranty issues arises, you simply find your nearest B+B for warranty support; no jumping through hoops like with a NS.
OTOH, it's your money and your choice so spend it anyway you'd like.
