The DirtCom unit looks nice and they're putting a lot of effort into it, but I ended up being turn off on their lack of response and for not providing the code to me after saying they'd honor it. Sad as I was ready to pull the trigger on buying it, so I gave up and ordered one from Rig'd.
I am about to grab a Rig'd Ultraswing as well. Dirtcom looks decent, but the lack of customer service is an immediate turn-off. Spending $1k + on fab products means you better offer some quality CS.

CS is everything. When I had the Rig'd Ultraswing I contacted them a handful of times and every time they responded within 24-48 hours. Even had an issue with some slight scuffing on the Ultraswing because of a packing issue and they gave me $150 credit for the trouble. Just get the Rig'd. It's proven, there are lots of accessories, and they have fantastic CS.

Emailed them and like posted they said there wasn't enough interest so they were calling it off. Said they would not offer the discount code. I was still going to order from their first batch. Messaged them again and never heard back.

Looks like a neat product but not sure if they will back it up.

Hello everybody, AJ with Dirtcom. Been a long time since I've visited this message board as I have been busy with the business.

We were completely overwhelmed by the response, and sold out of our first batch of 100 units back in Jan to March. I have been a long time 4runner owner and member of this message board. This is why I offered the best deal here at the time of launch. The deal I gave on here was for you guys to acquire this product close to cost at a preorder price. For those of you who are fabricators and are familiar with the cost of chromoly, labor for bending and welding the tubes, you could guess that we were basically giving them away at that previous price. Since then the cost of raw materials has doubled.

However, we got way more response on our social media accounts. I was the sole person in the beginning of the year handling hundreds of emails, phone calls, and DMs 24/7 for this project and I apologize for not getting back to some of you on here. Although as the designer of the Trail Swing I am a bit biased and think it is awesome, we did not expect the overwhelming rapid success of this product and simply did not have the manpower in the beginning to handle the incoming inquiries.

Since, then we have hired staff and dedicated customer service reps. We have successfully sold hundreds of units. We even made it on Honda's Passport Trailsport official debut vehicle in Overland Expo West and also at SEMA. We are continually improving the Trail Swing and are already on a version 2.

I completely understand the frustration in the beginning and not getting questions answered. If you email us at [email protected] Monday to Friday I can guarantee you will see a timely response. If you DM us on instagram @Dirtco mplex it will be harder to keep track of your message because there is no search feature on their DMs. Emails are a lot easier because I can search for your name or keywords of our conversation to pull up our previous messages. If you messaged us on IG your message was most likely buried in spam or knocked down the list from other incoming messages.

We did end up using all of the allotted spaces for the Discount Code that we had offered previously and they filled up quickly once we released the product on social media.

I personally love message boards and have been using them since 2005. They are a great source of ORGANIZED information for research and referencing. Message boards are great because they are regulated by moderators. They are also amazing because there is a search feature. Imagine that, a search feature! Unfortunately social media has grabbed hold of the short attention span and instant gratification mindset. They will never be as good as an organized message board for real research though. CATCH YOU ON THE TRAILS!

If you like to see up close details we have install videos and a comparison video where we cut our Trail Swing in half on Dirt Complex - YouTube
