I'll give Livingstons a ring. Who should I tell him referred me?
I need advice on rust/corrosion prevention for underneath as well. Rust and salted streets are a whole new world for me. I'm avoiding driving it on salted roads and when I did drive it I washed it pretty much immediately after...but I want to do my best to stop what's currently there from getting any worse.

Tell them Nick Wadle did and he should know my 4runner haha.
Advice is going to be what you already did...frequent washing during the winter months and every spring/fall I get under their and degrease and clean it all then spray with fluid film seems to do the trick. Neighbor across the street from me is a Master tech and Toyota and worked on my truck last week and did mention that my frame is your typical surface rust and nothing to worry about. So I would say preparation and prevention are going to be your best bet.

Most likely blackhills in July to attend an offroad event and visit my brother. Probably take my 85' rock crawler. Possibly Moab and national parks trip in Utah in June. Want to get 4Runner regeared before that trip or either trip. Luke at Frontier told me a week ago he cant get me in till July. Going to talk with him again soon about that.

We should get a group of Toyota's to go to the "iowa jeep fest" in September. I believe its right around the Ames area. Any interest? They allow all off road vehicles.

Went last year the course is pretty gnarly and definitely catered to their shorter wheelbase. Also lame you have to pay to spectate

Looks like it's in a brand new area that has trails. Might be something to look into? I've never been so I don't know.

Greetings everyone!
The Iowa Jeep Show Committee is excited and pleased to announce that the Iowa Jeep Show is officially moving locations this year, to the Cambridge Off road Park in Cambridge, IA! The dates will be maintained as 9/23 & 9/24 as has always been the plan.
With this move we are planning the biggest and best Iowa Jeep Show to date with:
-Expanded obstacle course
-Wooded trail runs
-Expanded vendor & booth space
-Long-term growth potential
The Cambridge Offroad Park will serve as a long term home for the Iowa Jeep Show, allowing us to leave our obstacle course set up year after year, and thereby reducing volunteer effort and continual need for fresh dirt.
The venue is a natural setting bordered by the Ballard Creek & Skunk River. The grounds offer an open, yet secluded area for Jeep Course construction and a wooded area bordering the creek and river for a truly unique show trail ride experience.
This move and planning could not be possible without the fantastic support of the City of Cambridge and Cambridge Offroad Enterprises (ATV/Dirtbike club), who have helped us plan and coordinate our show's integration into their property seamlessly. In addition, Dave's Crane & Wrecker Service was instrumental to the transport of obstacles to the new grounds. If you see or work with these folks, thank them for their support and send them your business.
There will be much more information to come as it becomes available, but please know we are always looking for more volunteers and donations large and small (including fill dirt!). We'll see you at the show!
This is posted on their Facebook.

I have gone the past 2-3 years and I am sure I will go again. There has been a small group of us from Tacomaworld / T4R that go. Most of those guys don't hang out over here as much as Tacoma world. I have never run the course myself.

Too far away for me to confirm. Lots of events in between to focus on. MIOBI always has a memorial weekend event. Hoping to make it to that again this year.
