Goal Zero product interest and sale

If you've never heard of them, that's because they are a young and small company (3 years). I have had interest in their products because of potential extended stays at campgrounds. They are becoming more popular with the "Expo" crowd (I believe Limamike has a couple of their systems and has been happy so far).

The are producing some interesting products for the environmentally conscious. They have basically come out with solar powered generators with varying sizes. Enough to power your cell phone to your home refrigerator.

Portable Solar Battery Charger | Portable Solar Panels | Off-Grid Solar Generators | Goal Zero - Extreme Portable Power

It's definitely worth checking out!

Anyway, here's the deal. I have become a distributor for their products, mainly for personal interest, but see some great potential for the general 4 wheeling/offroad/camping crowd. If we can reach a goal, let's say $3000MSRP, I will do 20% off of MSRP. If we can do $4000 MSRP, 30%. And $5000+ we'll do 40% off of MSRP.

Here's a small catch. All items will be shipped to my store. I will then ship to you (FREE OF CHARGE!!! to lower 48). This will delay some orders, of course. Goal Zero is located in Utah. An order of this size will have to come truck freight to me. And then, I will have to spend time packing and shipping orders. So I will need your patience when it all comes in. I think an end date for placing orders should be Sept 7, 2012.

If you have any questions, let me know. I'll do my best to answer them.

$3000 MSRP will get you 20% off
$4000 MSRP will get you 30% off
$5000+MSRP for 40% off

Interest list, not commited yet.
1. Ducmonsta-Extreme 350 kit, Escape 150 Expedition kit, Guide 10 Plus.....$1079.93 MSRP
2. javendan-Escape 30, Light a Lifex2............................................ .........$399.97 MSRP
3. adio3x-Extreme 350............................................... ...........................$349.99 MSRP
4.
5.

So I take it you are pitching a "group buy"? Or do we each need to spend between $3k-$5k to get the savings?

WOW, really interesting and these are very cool. Unfortunately, a couple of other higher priority items are chewing up the extra funds so I'll have to wait.

Free bump, for some cool products.

I'm in for something for sure. Exactly what would depend on the discount, but I see at least a $200 order. At 40% it would be significantly more.

Haha..I wish it was "each". Yes, I'm pitching a "group buy" but don't want to call it that. I am a vendor and yes, I'm trying to make profit. A very small one, BTW. It's really more to provide the best pricing to our forum only. I did not post this in any other ones (even though I'm a member there as well).

These are neat toys and would love to own. Unfortunately don't have that kind of cash flow

First, thank you for doing this.

Would it be possible for you to post a running total so we can see where we are with the discount?

Joel

I'm definitely going to do that. I imagine this will almost be a trickle down effect. Let's say, people want something that's $200 MSRP. After others are interested and we break the first goal ($3000), they'll only be paying $160. Now that they are paying $160, that frees up another $40. So now they want to add a product that's $100MSRP. That's a total of $300 MSRP and they will only pay $240. But as this increases over time, we'll break the $4000 mark, then the $5000. Each time increasing the discount and possibly the order because of the discount.

Halfway there and only 2 people in it. This should be pretty easy.

GZ is da-bomb

Saw a group of hikers this weekend in the wilds of Wyoming, and a guy had a GZ solar panel strapped to his backpack as he passed my crew.

Great products, very hip, very cool.

I met them, including one of the owners (I believe) a couple of years ago during the International Association of Emergency Management conference in San Antonio, TX. They were really a great bunch of guys and seem to stand behind everything they sell! I left the conference with about 1K worth of equipment. They gave me 75% off (conference special). To date, all of the equipment still works great and all of it is in great condition.

Hey Bobby, you can throw me down for an extreme 350 battery pack without the inverter. Thanks!

I already own one and these things are great!
