Limp Mode/Carmax is awesome

Almost browned my trousers this morning driving my wife's 05 GX470. As I pulled out the vsc tractions control, CEL, etc came on and the car drove like garbage. We just brought this thing (less than 30 days thank God!) and I was convinced that it was a bad tranny or something horrific. But luckily, carmax has a 30 day policy to fix any and all issues and they were Johnny on the spot.

Without even looking at it, my customer service rep (Justin in Raleigh on Capital Blvd you are awesome) said that it sounded like limp mode. They had just replaced the battery last week and he suspects the new battery has a bad cell.

I don't know what all yalls experience with carmax has been recently but they really stand behind their vehicles. In the last three weeks, they have replace ANYTHING missing or broken (bolt covers, missing cargo net (really? I won't even use the damn thing but what ever), window switch, brakes, battery, and hood struts.

This car was a good deal but now with all the love Cmax put in to it, it is a great deal.
