GX470 2006 Heating passenger-side only
Hey guys,
As of the begging of this month I got a new(to me) GX 470.
The car drives and feels great and the V8 is incredible.
I do have а very weird issues that I just noticed and am trying to find the root of and I'd appreciate any input here:
Heating - when setting the Climate Control to FULL HEAT a few days ago (really weird cold weather recently - should be 95 degrees instead of 65 right now) I noticed that no heat came out of the vents - rather strange but I thought this was somehow due to my ineptitude.
Today I tested the heating again, this time had a passenger, and the heat coming out of their vents was near scorching where I got cold-ish air coming out of my vents.
The radiator, coolant and thermostat were replaced when I got the vehicle so I'm sort of ruling those out. The coolant level is above minimum so that looks okay and the heater does work on one side - could it be something controlling the air flow? Or should I look into a radiator core flush? Anyone encounter this before.
Also the AC works like a charm if that matters at all.
PS Dual-zone on/off resulted in no noticeable change in air heat
