Father and Son Lexus Build

We picked up a GX470 for my son and a GX460 for myself as our 2019 Builds. We got right to work.

We did typical maintenance like water pumps, timing belt (GX470), tranny flush, power steering flush, exc. Turns out I had a bad coolant leak that took a lot more work than I had planned for.

As usual we opted for Toytec lifts on Both vehicles, but this time I went with the Boss 2.5 on mine.

We had some trouble finding Polly bushings for the KDSS GX460, but then I stumbled onto Siberian Bushings and hit pay dirt.

Aside from basic maintenance and lift, tires and wheels, we also opted to go with the Southern Style Off Road Roof Racks on both vehicles. I gotta say, we have installed several dozen roof racks and this one is by far the easiest and pretty darn cool IMHO.

We went with a couple new manufactures on front bumpers. I went with C4 (and boy am I glad I did) with Warn 8000 winch and Baja Designs Fogs. My son chose the Addicted Off Road Front bumper with a Warn Winch and PRG Off Road Lights.

Really cool? What running boards/sliders did you use? I think you will appreciate the low end torque of the 4.7 over the 4.6.
