TRD Supercharged 2003 GX - OBD P2112
If any of you have a moment to help me, I'd appreciate it.
I have a 2003 GX with a TRD supercharger that has run great - but now I am pulling my hair out over an OBD: p2112 (throttle body stuck closed) - no other codes. I have tried replacing the throttle body to no avail. It ran without any codes for months and was amazing, so I didn't think it needed any tune changes for the TPS. I run a Unichip.
Seems to happen when hot, but there is really no pattern (intermittent) except that it seems to happen more when lightly touching the accelerator (pulling up to stop signs, or cruising on the freeway) - goes into limp mode, I turn it off and back on, and it is completely normal but with the CEL (check engine light).
I have tried some diagnostics. I let the ECU reset (battery power off for a while). I have the full factory service manuals and traced all of the electrical as well as testing all of the voltages at the body and they're within range with smooth transitions. I can't see how it would be the pedal sensor, since that's a different code. If it was the harness I feel like I would have seen a more predictable pattern and the voltage testing hot and cold would have been off (also tapped and manipulated the wires when testing).
Anyone have any theories? I also messaged Gadget, of course.
Thanks
