I'm probably changing it out early but I don't know what the schedule prescribes. I wanted the break-in to happen and then change to synthetic and forget about it for a long time.
I have 20,500 on my '03 right now. And like Koz said, it takes about 1.5 quarts. BTW Boaz all the capacities are in your owner's manual along with the proper oil to be used.

Also I got a pump from Amsoil that fits on the top of the quart containers and it made it very easy to refill. Also I bought two new crush washers for the drain plugs but not the fill plugs. They were very cheap from partznet. I got both washers and a thing of touch up paint for about $6. One thing that was mentioned before in one of these threads....make sure you loosen the fill plug before you undo the drain plug. I had a little trouble loosening the fill plug on the front.

I have everything to change my diff fluid except this pump. WIll I be able to do it without the pump? I will have the truck up on a car lift so I hope I will be able to pour it in via a funnel. I may have to seach the local parts stores for one of those funnels with tube on it.
Whats your thoughts? Will I NEED the pump or is it just something to make the job easier.

I have used a hand pump (looks like a large metal syringe) but it is not necessary. Gear oil has a tapered (conical section) cap on it. Cut the top of the cap off and slip some Tygon tubing, or any rubber tubing like fuel line over the cap. Squeeze away. I place my gear oil on top of my water heater, the night before. This warms it up a tad and lowers the viscosity. This way it

I have a pump like this for the lower unit on my boat. You don't need the adapter on the end of the hose. It is to fill the lower unit from the drain hole (thick stuff, no air pockets).
Autopart stores may have something similar. Or swing by a boating store and pick one up.
I have not looked at changing my fluids yet, I don't know exactly what will work, and what won't.

That is the one I have and it worked great. IMO you WILL need the pump. It will at least make things alot less messy.
The Amsoil pump is labeled as a marine pump so, as mentioned above, you may be able to find one using that angle.

Your right, I needed the pump. I dont think it could of been easier. It took awhile to pump all that fluid, but it was easy.

Hand pump or hand squeezed, you choose. Both are easy and yes you will make a mess no matter how you do it.

I thought I would post up the part numbers for the crushwashers. I had to go to 3 different dealers to get these damn things. Hopefully this will help someone out in the future!
Front Diff Drain
9043024003
Rear Diff Drain
1215710010
Transfercase Drain
9043018008
Oil pan drain
9043012031
Hopefully this will save someone the headache it caused me.
Total cost was almost 7 dollars for 2 of each.
