Question Door panels

Anyone know what the proper procedure is to remove the door panels on a 05 limited ? I don't want to just pull and possibly break something. I got this small squeek and it seems to be the drivers door panel. Thought I'd put something behind the panel to stop the noise.

Answer...

Squeek on an '05?
SQUAWK at the Stealer!
(Why mess with it yourself and risk something going wrong when it's brand new?)

Thanks that is what I call helpful !
It's such a minor clicking sound and the best way to get something done right is to do it yourself.

You asked a question and my reply was in your best interest. Taking off a door panel can be difficult and if you do not follow the proper procedures you could have real problems. Do yourself a favor and get a repair manual (you will also be able to use it for other repairs, it is a must have) and follow it step by step.

Mystery solved

Thanks to all of you for the help. Had the door panel off but not unplugged from anything three times. Not until the last time I took it off completely did I find the rattle was in the door, not the panel. Turns out it was the black box that the cables for unlocking and opening attach to, and where it has a plug through the door to plug the wires into. The little piece of cheap foam they use was out of alignment and was making a noise sort of like when scotch tape is pulled off and on at 50 times a minute. Anyway case solved. And taking the door panel offand on is easier then I thought.

ralphsdad,

I just noticed you are in NJ. There are several of us from this area that get together every couple months. We are due for a meet soon, hope to see you and another Salsa Limited there.
