Polishing/waxing, etc

Okay, so I decided that today was going to be detailing day. I washed the car with car wash concentrate and dried it with a cotton towel (so far so good). Then I wanted to polish the car to get rid of some swirl marks and light scratches. For this I purchased

In terms of procedure, you were quite fine. However, with the products, you could have done a little better. There are many professional products in the market right now that take care of so many things, Meguiar's', 3M, Menzerna, Zaino's, etc...Go to Detail City and you will learn a ton about proerly detailing your truck. Since joining that forum, my 4runner is looking better and better. You'll like it!:arrow:

IMHO...Turtle wax sucks! It is a ***** to put on and get off and it flakes everywhere including into your window sills. Get one of the aformentioned products in this thread.

As per your advice, the Nu Finish and the Turtle Was carnauba wax have been thrown away (actually, a Ford Explorer owner bought them from me for $10
