Fuel Pump Problem?

Got an issue with my 92 Toyota 4Runner. When I start it up it drives just fine but after about 10-20 minutes of driving (typically at highway speed) when I give it some gas it will "bog out", jerk a little bit and have no power. It doesn't stall out but it pretty much is unresponsive. I will then pull over and shut turn off the ignition. I'll start the truck up again after about 2-5 minutes and it will run just fine again until it does it again. I've tried replacing the fuel filter but this did not help. I'm thinking it could possibly be a fuel pump issue but I can't be sure and would like to get some input before I spend money on that. This is my first post on this forum and would appreciate any advice or input.

Thanks!

Might also want to look at the fuel pressure regulator and fuel pulse damper.

Diagnosing an engine problem without test equipment is not practical.
However, there is an easy item to check.
You may have a MAF sensor that is dirty or bad. It is easy to clean or replace, but make sure you use the proper sprayer. No carb cleaner. Let it dry before running the engine.
There are a lot of YouTube videos on how to do it.
