glass scratches

I had someone write all over my rear windows with shoe polish as a joke a while ago. When I had it cleaned off there were a bunch of circular pattern (from the wiping) scratches on my rear windows. Anyone know of something that might be able to buff some of them out? I know some are probably too deep to fix, but I'll try whatever might work.

Did a search on Google and found some information -- samples below. To be honest, I've not tried to polish scratches in glass.

Good luck.

thanks for the links

Thanks for the links, I'll have to look for some glass products like those. The scratches are kind of like the ones on that first aquarium link... they aren't very noticeable unless they are in direct sunlight. I'm thinking the majority of them can be buffed out.
