Have you folks had good experience with them? I saw a few folks mention them here in this thread.
Thanks,

No complaints. I have 'zero' noise on cold startup, the oil stays visually clear and good for an exceptionally long time. When you look inside them, study the assembly quality, touch the rubber on the check valve etc they're clearly a premium filter. I say get 'em

Oil Filters
I used Fram for many years and have switched to Wix for all of my vehicles. I've been happy with them.

I use the Toyota Filters. I usually buy a bunch at a time. The engine is warranted to 100,000 miles so I know it won't be my problem if the OEM filter isn't any good.
People overthink stuff like oil and filters.
I am sure the engineers at Toyota are more than competent enough to make an effective oil filter that lasts 5000 miles. I am not sure about a company that needs a pyramid scheme to sell their products.

Went to change fram filter with toyota filter and...had hard time taking it off.Had lubed oring and put on hand tight .Tried filter wrench put only slipped.Used large water pump plier and finally strarted to loosen. But when took it off treaded nipple came off with filter.Tried taking nipple off and it was seized in oil filter.Only thing I can think of why it happened is maybe while taking off with pliers maybe filter sort of cocked and stripped filter tread.Im a mechanic by trade and never had that ever happened.Be it bad luck or I totaly scewed up, ordered nipple from dealer .Need to rent a car for a couple of days now.
