I was putting everything back together after changing my valve cover gaskets and crossed a coolant line with the intake on the throttle body (I even made labels saying whats goes where
).
I start to add coolant, get near full and hear a trickle in the air intake. I pull out the intake and realize I put a decent amount of coolant through my throttle body. I'm hoping it all drained out the air intake and not the intake manifold but I really don't know.
Where should I start? Pull the spark plugs and check for coolant?
update: I figured it out. I pulled the spark plugs and blew out a shit ton of coolant, changed the oil/oil filter, got new spark plugs, and fired her up. I let it run for awhile to burn out the leftover coolant and it ran great, no leaks and no more burn oil smell (just burnt coolant now
).
