Online source for Toyota oil filters?

Any recommendations as to where to buy OEM oil filters online? I'd like to pick up 10 or so to have in stock so I don't have to scramble when it's oil change time. I'm looking for the V6 filter...sorry I don't have the p/n handy. Who have you dealt with that's good with the price of the filter and shipping? Thanks.

Oil Filters

I get the OEM Toyota oil filters (for my '05 V6 SR5) at the local stealership. They sell them for five bucks a piece if you buy three of them.

Perhaps I could find them cheaper elsewhere, but five bucks is reasonable in my opinion. Sadly, though, they charge 59 cents each for the little crush washers that probably don't cost them more than a cent to make.

Oddly, though, the OEM filters are made in Thailand. WTF??

Well they're better than the ones made in the U.S. for our trucks. You may still be able to get the ones made in Japan if you look hard enough.

BTW, Partznet is around $3.65/filter

The oil filters are made in a few different countries. Here in the U.S., we see those made in Thailand, Japan, and the U.S.
Although they're the same size, the part number varies by the country of manufacture. More info here: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showth...threadid=21945

Ebay works too!!!

I bought from this seller before. 1 case for my Camry and 1 for my 4Runner. The auction listed is for the V-8 filter made in Thailand. I use it on my V-6. Many other forum members do also.

I tried to post a link but it did not want to work. It was to long or something. But the seller is TRDparts4u. The filter part number is 90915-YZZD3. They have 88 case availible for $39.90ea Shipped for free. When they shipped mine it was priority mail.

Here is a link to their e-bay store.

The Thai filters are $5.50 at the Toyota dealer where I bought my 4Runner, and about $6.50 - $7.00 at a Lexus dealer.

I've seen the U.S.-made filter at another Toyota dealer for as much as $7.50! They're a little high.

I haven't seen a Japanese filter at a dealer in a few years... I've been told they're too expensive to stock, as people won't pay the premium for them over the other filters.

The 90915-YZZD3 are $5 or 5.50 each, but $4 each when you buy three at a time at one dealer in the Bay Area.
