Just brought an '07 4Runner from Texas to the rustiest part of the rust belt. Absolutely amazed at how clean this thing is underneath. That said I'm doing everything I can to keep it that way.
I can't speak on how well fluid film holds up to undercarriage washes but my guess would be not too well, especially after multiple washes. High pressure and soap will definitely take it off.
On reading this and other threads it seems a lot of car washes recirculate water which can get even more salt in places we certainly don't want it. My local car wash doesn't offer touchless without undercarriage so my move is suck it up and use the manual bays. Tends to yield better results and is a bit more cost effective as well (just not much fun in the winter).
Side note, I know this is a 6+ year old thread but as always big thanks to the community for all the info. Really like the way the black FF turned out!
