full suspension refresh process

I'm about to do a complete suspension refresh on our 2004 -- UCA/LCA bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, springs, shocks, etc. My current thinking is to just remove it all and then reassemble, but would it be easier/smarter to R&R one piece at a time?

Thoughts?

If it's not your primary vehicle I would take it apart all at once and replace everything. That way you can order new nuts, bolts if something breaks.

I would do everything at the same time... buy everything you need and more, return what you don't need/use.

Often times you won't know what you need until you get to it... but if you know what you are doing you can plan for the worst and hope for the best.

It is easiest to do it in sections or all at once. Example, tackle the entire front suspension in one sitting, then maybe the rear at a later date. Small items like sway bar bushings can be done at any time as they have no effect on the alignment.

I would suggest Energy Poly bushings for the control arms, they will last much longer and better hold up to elements.

8.3128G Energy Suspension Front Control Arm Bushing Set
8.3129G Energy Suspension Rear Control Arm Bushing Set (If not swapping to aftermarket units)
8.7105G Energy Suspension Rear Track Bar Bushing Set (If not swapping to aftermarket unit)

If youd like to purchase those from us above, use the code T4R for a forum member discount.

I also suggest locating a set of poly steering rack bushings. We dont sell them, but you can find them on ebay - they greatly increase the steering wheel response and feel.
