Mixed spark plugs on 30K maintenance

I've finished the last of my 30K maintenance on my '05 4Runner. Feels good to know that oil/diff/transfer is all synthetic and all work was done right!

Did the spark plugs yesterday, and I too had a mixed set of NGK's and Denso's (Denso on pass side, NGK on driver side)...the Driver side was a bear, and I had the hardest time getting the electrical connector disconnected from the spark plug coil.

Coincidentally, my son and I recently changed the spark plugs on his 01 TRD Tacoma. It has the 3.4L V6 with about 65K miles. He got it a few months ago with a little over 60K on it, and I suspected the plugs hadn't been changed at 60K....we pull the plugs, and he's got a mixed set too! I'm hoping that doesn't mean they were the factory originals.....

Just dropped my 4Runner off at the shop with a copy of the 30K maintenance schedule....I crossed out everything I'd already done, and am having them rotate the tires and "inspect" everything....you should have seen the look on their face!
