Can I use rust reform on a small body dent with rust?

I have a small dent about the size of a dime that has rust. My 4runner is black, is it possible to use rust reformer on this spot and just leave it the Matt black it turns into?

Ah I am in the same boat! I have two on my roof about the size of a dime and I was wondering the same thing. I was thinking about sanding off the rust and then paint/2k clear.

I have fixed multiple "dime sized" rust spots and would say the best thing to do is sand it down then use a primer, paint and sealer. The rust inhibitors can work but you should still go through the process of primer, paint and sealer as they wont hold up without in my experience.

Use rust converter and then apply touch up paint.
