Gx470 tranny fluid change

I have searched a good bit and having a hard time finding a good way to Change it the tranny fluid in my gx. For my 98 runner we just pulled the in and out lines in the tranny, one on the new bucket of fluid, one for drain, and put it in gear. It was an easy way to Change it the fluid.

Now that I have a gx470 I don't see the same method being used. Is there a similar way to do this? I know the setup is basically the same as a lot of the ones with the 4.7 engine.

I really want to get some amsoil tranny fluid in just in case, and I greatly appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!

It is a 2008 with the sealed transmission by the way.

sorry cant comment on the 2 bucket method but most guys on here just do the 2qt at a time exchange method, lots of vids on youtube too. just start the engine with a drain hose from the trans line outlet port on the radiator into a container marked at 2qts & shut it off at 2qts. then refill 2 qts via the trans fill hole with a funnel & hose up in the engine bay or a hand pump. do that process 5-6 times & you've replaced the majority of the fluid.

the sealed trans also needs the level checked a certain way & doing 2-3qts at a time keeps it close to the factory level
