What can I use on this bumper part

Grabbed out of a junkyard since the right rear of mine has a dent. It has some sort of patina in various spots. Sorry for the goofy photo but it is not easy to take a picture of chrome without background showing up.
I have tried 0000 steel wool and brasso, turtle chrome polish and mothers chrome polish. None seemed to have done anything

Mothers mag/aluminum polish works pretty well.
If not turtle wax sells a chrome/fender polish.
I cleaned this motorcycle fender with steel wool/brake cleaner/penetrating oil to keep from rusting more.
