It's possibly the SAIP (Secondary Air Injection Pump), if you haven't done the bypass, I would do it....or you can have the pump and related other parts replaced to have it all working properly...but it's not cheap to have done since the pump is buried under the intake manifold along with the starter motor.

he will see this topic and stop in to give his opinion, he sells a bypass kit that works and it's not over priced like others out there, and if the SAIP is your problem it will stop the noise.
