Can't hold my coffee

My '87 is cool but it lacks the proper plase to keep a cup of coffee or a bottle of soda or other popular summertime beverages. Is there a cool device or workaround to take advantage of the limited space without getting in my way?

It's really hard for many to help you without seeing what you have to deal with. But you can also do a search on the website for there has been talks about this. I have once piece of advice that has helped me in a few cars. Assuming your coffee can fit into this, get one of those can holder/coolers. You know those those rubber holders you put your beer in it, and then drink with it in it? Well that is what I used, and it made up for the extra gap in previous cars.
