I can give some partial answers.
1. 13WL is interchangeable with the 13WG (stock original). The different brake line angle isn't an issue.
2. Not sure about rotor size (search the forum for the measurements) but the larger rotor also uses the 13WH caliper. Double check your current caliper casting stamping near the bleeder.
3. No info.
4. Yes if they aren't damaged.
Good luck.

Kmvreter, why are you paying for calipers again? Aren't those lifetime warranty. My Carquest in KC caries free replacement lifetime units. If those freeze I'll take them off, take them to Carquest and pick up new set at no charge.

Kmvreter - just wanted to say thanks for posting how to replace the caliper instructions at the beginning of this thread. For a newbie like myself, I was able to do it in a couple hours today. Very detailed and straight forward!!

Kmvreter,
Awesome post. I've an '04 V8 Sport, so I'll make sure to get the right calipers. I just replaced front and rear pads and rotors - pretty sure the original owner hadn't replaced a thing and with the truck at 84k miles it was a mess in there. However, the front driver side inner lower piston froze up, and while I could still mount the rotor and hand turn the tire, its dragging enough to discolor the rotor and I'm sure its going to warp it soon. I'm planning to do a caliper replacement on the front end next - but it'll be a first for me. This post will help a ton, for sure.
Quick question - did you do a post for replacing the rear calipers too? Should it be similar to the fronts?
Thanks for your work - I've done some mods you've written on and I enjoy the electrical / electronic stuff... keep em comin'

One more Q - if I replace the front calipers, do I need to bleed all 4 brakes or just the calipers I've replaced? I don't know if air will get into the system upstream of the caliper, but I'm not the expert...

Just bleed fronts. I'm sure most would strongly suggest to bleed all 4 but there is no way for air to get all way back there if you had front hoses clamped.

Just wanted to add a little bit of my experience with this here.
In Jan of 2010, my front oem calipers (13WG) had a frozen pistion in each, so I swapped them out with the larger 13WH, along with the correct/larger rotors (Just required a slight modification/manipulation to the dust shield). They were replaced with the reman'd calipers from RockAuto.
Recently I noticed my braking wasn't what it should be, stopping distance had increased, and was a lot less smooth. One night after work last week, I quickly shined a light on the pads through the wheel and could see they were worn, so figured it was time to swap the pads.
This past weekend I stopped by Advanced Auto and picked up the pads, and headed home to swap'm out. When I got to pulling the calipers off, I noticed the pads weren't worn evenly, and when I went to compress the pistions, two on each caliper was frozen. Oh yay! So I reassembled everything and CAREFULLY drove to NAPA and bought the reman'd calipers there. $114 + a $50 core charge per. Went home and swapped'm out, bled the lines and can once again stop on a dime, and smoothly.
I must say too, these NAPA reman'd calipers look sooooo much better than the ones I got from RockAuto. Nice protective coating, and the materials look better as well. Here's to hoping I'll get better luck with these. I'll be doing some of the [hopefully] preventive tips I've seen floating around here as well, like greasing up the retaining pins and such every so often.

In front caliper there should be just one anti-rattle spring in each caliper. I noticed on FRT's pic 2 of them. Is there any benefit of placing 2 clips or just OCD?

OCD on my part I believe. =)
I noticed having just one that the pads weren't pushed back against the calipers evenly/perfectly, so I added another spring to even it out. And who knows, maybe the little bit of back pressure it'll add will help to prevent the pistons from freezing up again (doubtful that'll make a difference).

So I've been running with the new NAPA calipers/pads for about 3 weeks now, and I noticed the strangest thing yesterday after filling up. My MPG improved!!!1 :jaw drop:
Those frozen calipers were eating at least .5 mpg. And my driving hasn't changed, if anything I drive even harder now that I know I can stop properly.

How are those NAPA units holding up after about 3 months?

Sorry I didn't respond sooner. Haven't been on in a while and I suppose I forgot to sub to this thread.
They're still going strong, stopping power is great. Much MUCH better than what I had before.
EDIT: Just so there's no confusion, the NAPA reman'd calipers are MUCH MUCH better than the Rock Auto reman'd units I had originally.
