And below is the culprit of my problem, the Heated O2 sensor Bank 1 Sensor 2. Lay down under the truck directly below the passenger (front) side. Locate the exhaust pipe. Directly across from where the mud guard would be is the O2 sensor, threaded to the top of the pipe. If you draw an imaginary straight line to the driver side, you will also see the other sensor (Bank 2 Sensor 2). It will have 4 wires.

I'm so sorry to repeat the same questions but I'm still confused....trying to replace O2 sensor on my 4th gen/2003 V6 4Runner. (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
I have the part AND the special wrench but I'm having a hard time figuring out exactly whether to go at it from the top or underneath the vehicle. And if underneath, will I need it lifted because I can't do that at home.
Also, if I have to take this to a mechanic, since I already have the part, etc., what should I expect someone to charge me for just installing the sensor?
PS...I have the CEL/VSC TRAC/TRAC OFF lights on and have tried 2 different gas caps along with unhooking positives terminal of battery, to no avail. Took to Oreilly and got the P0136 code...
I'm a single woman and I love fixing stuff myself, thanks to a dad who taught me a lot. On something like this, he would usually help me out, but he is battling leukemia, and I'm trying to do it on my own. Thank you for any help.
