5 Quarts of Mobile 1 Synthetic + Mobile 1 Oil Filter = $29.99

Hey, I went shopping earlier to get some cleaning supplies for my 4runner (gotta keep her shinning!) and I came across this GREAT oil change deal and wanted to share it with you all on here. If you happen to have an Advance Auto Parts location near you, or here's their link: http://www.advanceautoparts.com/, you can get 5 Quarts of Mobile 1 Synthetic (normally 7.89 or so each) AND a Mobile 1 Oil Filter (normally 12.99 each) all for only $29.99!
This store always has good deals on oil changes and other things for your vehicles. Their regular prices are meh.. but I'm a bargain shopper, I wait for their sales, and they're usually great! ;)
I thought it was such a great deal that I went and bought 5 of them, so my next 5 oil changes are already paid for. I probably should pick up more, but maybe they'll have better deals by the time I go through 5 oil changes, which should last me 2-3 years unless I start driving more/farther. I hear Mobile 1 is the best, so I couldn't pass it up. I've only used Valvoline SYN Power Full Synthetic and Castrol Synthetic on my past (and only) three oil changes. They were done at 4,800, 11,075, and 16,777 miles for those who may be curious.

The web site says the sale is good through the end of September.

The one by me has the same deals with different oils as well. I think you can get Syntec with a K&N oil filter for like $25 or $26. I have M1 in right now but I might go back to my usual Syntec. The Auto Zone by my house has started to do the same.

Yeah, their "oil change" sales are usually good for 1 month's time. If I make good money this month, I can see myself going back and buying more. They have good deals on other (synthetics and regular) "oil changes" (5 quarts + filter) too. I've always gone there, but this was the first time I've ever see Mobile 1 have a deal.

That is a good deal.

Just a thought, though - doesn't the V6 need at least 5.5 quarts?
The V8 requires 6.5 quarts and takes 7 with no problem.

Yes but when you factor in the filter is $12, the 5qt jug is cheaper than even Wal Mart.

Not that I'm a fan of Wal-mart in general....

5 quart jugs of Pennzoil Platnimum full synthetic @$20 and Pennzoil's running a $15 cash rebate through November 30th.

PP is an outstanding oil in its own right, but at that price unbeatable. Esp for 7.5K or less miles.

Mine shows as full with 5 quarts. I never put in the extra .5 because I didn't want to overfill it.
