Where to find Brembo Front Rotors 338mm for 2006 SE??

Hi guys,

Where can I find Brembo plain front rotors with 338mm diameter for 2006 Sport Edition with 17" wheels? First checked tiretrack after some reading with no luck - they seem to only carry the 319mm ones for SR5's and Limited. Google search did not yield any real results either. I'm planning on using those with new OEM front pads.

If anyone has gotten them onlline somewhere, could you share the source?

Must appreciated!

Thanks guys.

No luck. Tiretrack doesn't carry the 338mm ones for SE. They only have the 319mm ones for SR5 and Limited.

I think I read somewhere that they stopped producing those a while ago? I might just go with Mountain. Heard good things about them.

A separate question: for those of you who use Hawk pads, are they better than TOYOTA OEM pads? And which kind did you get - High Performance Street pads or Light Truck/SUV pads?

thanks.

Don't bother with Brembo. They don't rotors in all specs. Besides, a lot of their OE replacement rotors are made in China and Poland now.

If you want some quality stuff that doesn't cost as much as OE, and will give you better performance try some of the stuff from StopTech. They are a TRD supplier.

The StopTech pads have higher temperature range and more bite than OE pads or Hawk Pads. The downside is that they put out more dust. Probably a little more than the Hawk HPS, but not by much.

Try this guy out. He's very well known on the BMW boards, but knows brakes very well in general.
Toyota 4Runner Products: StopTech big brake kits, stainless steel braided brake lines, brake pads, tires
email him for the rotors. He'll have options for you.
