break calipers and pads

Hi,

I wanted to change the front break pads of my 05 4runner but I made a mistake doing this. Normally, to remove the caliper, only 2 bolts need to be removed. Instead of doing this, I removed the 4 bolts holding the 2 halves of the caliper. Sure enough, most of the fluid is gone now...

I have reassembled everything and now I am planning to bleed the front brakes to remove air from the system. Is it going to be enough to fix this mistake?

Thanks!
Sebastien

That should do it... At least for the next couple of weeks look at the caliper frequently to check for any leaks.

not just the front brake, you will need to bleed all four calipers. In any case you really should bleed and replace all brake fluid when you do q brake job any way.
