Great News! Bought a 4Runner last weeek. Its an 04 limited V8 stratosphere blue.. Its in VGC 93kmiles. Had the dealer do the Tbelt and Wp. I put brake pads and rotors on it. I love it. SO happy we found a nice one.
The plan is to keep it very mild. Its my GF's daily driver.
Might start with a a leveling kit and 70 series tires. Then evolve from there.
I come from a sports car back ground. I've been a high performance driving instructor for better part of 10 years. We will use it to transport and tow for some of that still. We got the truck for a number of reason to replace our V8 5 series wagon, most of all we both want to do some events off the pavement
We really are looking forward to getting outside meet some new people and having fun.

Congrats on the purchase!
You say start with leveling kit then tires then evolve from there. If you plan on bigger suspension at anytime go ahead and do it right the first time. I did a spacer lift then a real suspension lift now chaning my coils again and also wanting coilovers lol i could have saved money in the long run lol just a suggestion if your just going to keep wanting more.
But you will love the 4r no matter what!

Thanks! I know just how slippery the slope can be. My younger brother has an FJ on OME stuff that rides awesome. Maaaaybee I can give the GF a nudge in that direction haha.
