Hi all
I live in Columbia and just picked up a 17 SR5 this week. Bought it at Carmax [I've bought a lot of cars there...] with 16K miles on it. I was looking for a while and wanted the 3rd row seat so this one was a transfer from IA. Been very happy with it so far.
I've been obsessed with 4runners since the late 1980s.... after a friend of a friend showed up with a 85 with big tires, rollbar and removable roof. Dreamed of getting one every since then every few years and this week was it.

Hello,
Wanted to post here since it seems the most active.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a local shop to install lift kits?
Just got my 4runner and my parts are on the way but scratching my head about where to get them installed.
Located in howard county, looking for shops in PA / VA / MD.

Hello everyone, I'm another Columbiad checking in. Over the summer I bought a '15 SR5 and promptly took it up to the Mid-Atlantic Overland Festival and dragged it through the mud in stock configuration.

I'm in Ellicott City as well and just purchased a 2018 off road premium. Is there anyone here who can recommend a good quality shop in the area??? I've found a few places online but I am very cautious about just picking a place based on a few reviews. I am interested in getting a lift kit and some rims and tires installed.
Thanks!

There's a 4wheel parts wholesales in glen burnie, regular prices, but they can do work fairly quickly and all the prices are up front, no surprises.

Thanks for the reply. I looked up 4WP in Glen Burnie and the reviews for them are pretty all over the place. A lot of good but just as many bad which makes me worried.
Right now I am leaning towards contacting Adrenaline Off Road in Burtonsville MD and World Tour Off Road Equipment in Annapolis MD. Both these shops get good reviews but they seem to cater to Jeeps.
I wouldn't mind some feedback from some people on this site about other options in the area who are familiar with Toyota.

Also looking for responses to this please! I have a S/C 3rd Gen and would prefer a shop with some experience of working on a s/c'd truck with all the URD supporting mods. Adrenaline off-road come up most often on searches so I may give them a try. Any other recommendations would be much appreciated
